2021 Award Winners
In 2021 the Sigmund Sternberg Charitable Foundation hosted the annual Times Sternberg Active Life Awards.
Jeremy Griffin, Executive Editor of the Times, spoke in honour of The Awards and Baroness Ros Altmann CBE presented the prizes to the winners, which were provided by the Sternberg Trustees.
This year the overall winner was Tom Benyon OBE for his work establishing and fundraising for the ZANE charity, which works in Zimbabwe.

Mike Frankl for his work establishing the charity Red Balloon which supports children who are unable to attend mainstream schools.
Malcolm McClean for his work providing accessible education about pensions and savings.
Brian Woodham for leading local efforts in Berkshire to improve flood defences.
Sheila Keeting for her campaigning work leading to a renaissance in drama and audio book production at the BBC.
