2022 Award Winners

In 2022 the Sigmund Sternberg Charitable Foundation hosted the annual Times Sternberg Active Life Awards.

Jeremy Griffin, Executive Editor of the Times, spoke in honour of The Awards and Baroness Ros Altmann CBE presented the prizes to the winners, which were provided by the Sternberg Trustees.

This year the overall winner was Lydia Tischler, for her fantastic contributions to the practice of child psychotherapy.

Sister Christine Frost for services to the community of Limehouse and Poplar.

Baroness Helena Kennedy KC for her contribution to the legal profession, and Human Rights in particular.

Margaret Clark, a volunteer for community action in East Cambridgeshire.

Veronica Wilson for her selfless and exceptional community leadership in South London.

Jennifer Jankel for her work establishing the Jewish Music Institute.
