The Active Life Awards

The Active Life Awards are a project of The Sigmund Sternberg Charitable Foundation, which supports charities and causes inspired by the life and vision of Sir Sigmund Sternberg. It is now being implemented by his son Michael Sternberg OBE KC, as chair of the trustees of the foundation.

The Active Life Awards were established in 2008, and celebrates annually the outstanding contributions of people to their community and to public life made after their 70th birthday. It was created by Sir Sigmund Sternberg in partnership with The Times newspaper.

Incredible luminaries who’ve changed the lives of thousands around the world – this is the legacy of The Times Sternberg Active Life Awards.
